Hi Estrella

I don't know. I never know. It's always "trial and find" with and for the individual ...

I would try the following:

- work on the position of the acetabulum, making sure that the notch (the opening in the cartilage for moving the femur head) is placed ideally (on the X-ray the pelvis looks extremely tilted forward)
- visualize the acetabulum
- do quadrants in the acetabulum in order to expand it
- turn and twist the acetabuli, pull them together (instead of the sitbones)
- adjust the femur head accordingly
- relax the glutes and hip muscles and really work from the levator ani
- check feet and leg axis
- quit soccer

You put the question in the official forum. I don't like to go into depths like this here. People expect me to do magic for free anyhow, all the time and forever ...

Next time please go to the forum for QC.

Do I see you in level 2? That would be grrrreat, Benita

Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI)

Beitrag von Estrella »

Dear Benita,

to what extent can one heal an FAI and circumvent surgery? The head of the humeral head is deformed (Cam-Impingenment, files attached below). The young man is 19 years old. The pain started at the age of 14. I personally assume that unwise movement patterns during excessive soccer practice (age 14/15) and weight lifting aggravated the deformation.
I am equipped with Level 1 and currently in the preparation process for Level 2, which I am truly grateful for.

Thank you very much for your advise!
Warmest, Estrella
